Yoga is taking on a wider role in modern life; an expansion beyond the Yoga classroom into all areas of our community as a vehicle for wellness, healing and personal transformation. Integrative Yoga Therapy is a pioneer and leader in training Yoga professionals who can bring the ancient insights of Yoga into mainstream wellness programs. Our programs are based on a vision of health as a Unity of body, mind and spirit. Yoga is a vehicle for deepening this experience of Unity and bringing it into the world as a resource for personal growth, healing and awakening. IYT 's experiential approach allows students to integrate in-depth information through a creative process resulting in a unique and comprehensive learning experience. ~Joseph LePage

The Integrative Yoga Therapy Teacher Training program gives students in-depth skills to teach Yoga as a vehicle for total wellness. Along with offering Yoga classes with a focus on health and healing to the general public, IYT graduates teach Yoga-based wellness programs in a wide variety of complementary settings including hospitals, businesses, and other complementary health care settings. IYT teachers also develop special focus programs, such as Yoga for back care, MS, depression, and many other health conditions. The intensive training will incorporate a variety of specializations and complete the Yoga Alliance approved 200 hour Yoga teacher certification program. When graduates complete the program, they may register with the Yoga Alliance to become a 200RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher).

We offer three different training schedules to meet the varied needs of our students. Complete your IYT Yoga Teacher Training before the holidays with our Weekend or Three-week Cohort options! For those with flexible schedules, our Weekday Cohort offers a unique opportunity.

Choose from one of the following training cohorts:

Weekend Cohort for students that work full-time:
Complete your IYT Training before the holidays! Friday, Saturday and Sunday, every other week, beginning September 10 and ending November 21.
Friday: 5pm-9pm
Saturday: 7am-5pm
Sunday: 7am-5pm
+ 1 Wednesday evening per month:
September 22 5pm-9pm; October 20 5pm-9pm; November 17 5pm-9pm

Three-week Cohort:
One full week once per month, September through November.
Training weeks:
September 20 - 25 Mon-Sat, 7am-5pm
October 18 - 23 Mon-Sat, 7am-5pm
November 15 - 20 Mon-Sat, 7am-5pm

Weekday Cohort:
Every Tuesday and Thursday 9:30am-2:30pm, beginning September 7 and ending January 25. No class Thanksgiving Day, Thurs, November 25 or Christmas break, Dec 23-Jan 3.

Prerequisities
A minimum education level of a GED or high school diploma is required
At least one year of experience in yoga (does not have to be continuous)
Must like Winnie the Pooh...kidding, just checking to see if you are reading this

Sundara Yoga Therapy's IYT Yoga Teacher Training Program comes with something extra - not just the in-depth therapeutic training and invaluable teaching fundamentals, but the exploration of community and networking with your fellow trainees.
