Learn simple, effective, and very enjoyable hands-on massage techniques that partners can use during labor and birth to relax and comfort the laboring Mom. Learn essential information about the role of stress during labor, How the laboring mind/body works and how to best work with the natural functioning of the body to ease pain and reduce stress for your best possible birth experience. Detailed handouts with pictures of comfort positions, and descriptions of techniques used in class, for you to practice with at home. Open Question and Answer time about labor and birth with two experienced Doulas, Massage Therapists, and Prenatal and Postnatal Yoga instructors.
