Sundara Yoga Therapy is a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga School (RYS)
The Integrative Yoga Therapy Teacher Training program gives students in-depth skills to teach Yoga as a vehicle for total wellness. Along with offering Yoga classes with a focus on health and healing to the general public, IYT graduates teach Yoga-based wellness programs in a wide variety of complementary settings including hospitals, businesses, and other complementary health care settings. IYT teachers also develop special focus programs, such as Yoga for back care, MS, depression, and many other health conditions. The intensive training will incorporate a variety of specializations and complete the Yoga Alliance approved 200 hour Yoga teacher certification program. When graduates complete the program, they may register with the Yoga Alliance to become a 200RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher).

Prerequisites: A minimum of two years of experience with yoga practice (any style), students are expected to have a working knowledge of asana. A strong physical practice is not required; please do not be concerned if you practice gentle yoga exclusively. For the physical part of the training, we train for vigorous, gentle, and everything in between.

Step 1: Fill out an application.
APPLICATION
You should hear back from a Sundara Yoga Therapy representative within 72 hours of application. Please answer all of the questions in the application so that we are able to determine whether or not our program matches your goals and expectations. There are a lot of wonderful Yoga Teacher Training Programs offered in the US; please research other schools before you apply to the Sundara IYT 200hr program. Step 2: Register.
As stated above, in order to register for a Sundara Yoga Therapy's IYT 200hr Professional Training you must first receive an acceptance decision from the Sundara Yoga Therapy Training office. We are dedicated to keeping our programs small in order to serve our students best. Our programs fill up quickly, so it is necessary to apply and register early. We will email registration forms with an acceptance notification; you will be required to return the forms and put a $100 downpayment to hold your space to become officially registered and a place guaranteed for the program. You will receive instructions on how to pay the down payment when you receive your acceptance notification. Please call or email if you have any questions.

Step 3: Payment
Payment Policy
A $100 deposit is due at the time of registration to reserve program space; please call Genevieve at your earliest convenience if you need to make financial arrangements. 50% of the Tuition is due one month prior to the start date; the remaining balance is due two weeks before the program start date.

IYT was founded by Joseph Le Page, a Yoga teacher in the Kripalu tradition and body-worker.
